Q: What time do you worship?

A: Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.

Q: Do you welcome young children in the sanctuary?

A: Certainly! Children can sit with their parents until they are called up front for the Children’s Sermon. (It really isn’t a sermon, but a simple lesson even some adults find insightful.) Afterwards, the children can go back and sit with their parents, or better still, go to the Carpenter’s Workshop (which is really a very cool Sunday School class that’s concurrent with our first service.)

Q: OK, but what about infants in the sanctuary?

A: Why not? However, if your baby gets restless and YOU feel uncomfortable, we have a nursery with large plate glass windows, wired for sound, overlooking the sanctuary.

Q: Great, but do you provide child care for toddlers?

A: Yes! A paid staff person is on duty from 9:00 a.m. until the conclusion of the 11:00 a.m. service.

Q: What about parking?

A: You can park in front of the church and on the side streets.

In addition, we’re working on a new parking lot.

Q: Do I have to be a Christian or a Presbyterian to come to your church?

A: Of course not! All you have to be is someone with an open mind and open heart.

Q: What about music?

A: Each Sunday at 9:00 a.m., we have a dynamic praise band with singers. At 11:00 a.m. we have our magnificent organ and choir. (Yes, we think our choir is magnificent too!) God has blessed us with gifted and talented musicians and singers to lead us in singing our praises to God.

Q: OK, how about this… are you a “conservative” or “liberal” church?

A: Honestly, we don’t try to label ourselves, except to say we try to put Christ at the center of who we are and what we do. Some may call themselves “liberal” or “progressive,” others may describe themselves as being “conservative” or “moderate,” but all of us value each other and our diverse viewpoints.

Q: What’s your dress code?

A: We have none. Some men prefer to wear coats and ties, some women wear dresses, but most of us dress casual. So it’s your call.
